Tempe, Arizona is a regional entertainment center with live music, restaurants, boutiques, cafes, theater and film. It combines historic buildings with modern architecture. Spring and fall Festival of the Arts draws tens of thousands to Downtown Tempe. ASU's Gammage Auditorium, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, seats 3,000 and hosts first-class productions. The Nelson Fine Arts Center has excellent collections of early American, Mexican and ceramic arts, Rio Salado Town Lake and Tempe Beach Park adjacent to boat tours/rentals. Tempe is home to ASU’s Sun Devils and host to the Buffalo Tostitos Bowl and Anaheim Angels for Spring Training.
